Development Update 1/8/2025
Zed here, back again with the good stuff. July was huge, with staking, Pineapple DEX Lite, and Pineapple Express all being released. But if you thought that was something? Strap in - August is about to change the game. Let’s get into it.
JuicedBot
JuicedBot is getting a serious upgrade, now with its own dedicated dev team behind it. Work is already underway to overhaul the system, improve performance, and gear it up for a wide-scale rollout across thousands of Telegram groups. The goal: get JuicedBot into the hands of every active crypto community, with each one feeding real volume and new users back to Pineapple DEX. It’s a major step toward growing reach, usage, and greater rewards for PAPPLE stakers.
Pineapple Express
Our first Pineapple Express launch is ready to be announced - final launch materials are being wrapped up now and will be released very soon. And this one’s going to make an impact. It’s a highly skilled, experienced, and fully doxxed team with a revolutionary project that scales well beyond the crypto echo chambers. You won’t have seen token utility like this before - not in this format, and not this early. It’s a huge win for Pineapple to be launching a project of this scale and backing, and it’s a strong signal of what’s to come. Expect details to drop shortly.
Pineapple DEX
A few big changes are underway across the DEX:
- New wallet options are being implemented to make onboarding easier for crypto newcomers. Users will soon be able to connect using a social or email login, with a secure, non-custodial wallet created behind the scenes. It’s a major step toward making DeFi more accessible - and it lays the foundation for a huge real-world partnership announcement coming soon.
- JuicedMode is progressing well, and it’s being rolled out in stages. First up: limit orders, which will allow users to set custom buy/sell prices for more efficient trading - ideal for more experienced traders who want more control over execution.
- TokenSlice is also on the way - a new trading view that’ll include AI-generated charts, gas usage data, KOL activity bubbles, and sentiment indicators like fear & greed. It’s designed to help users make smarter, faster trading decisions directly from the swap interface.
Backend & Infra
Under the hood, we’ve made some big improvements:
- Multi-chain adapter work is underway. Once complete, it’ll allow us to add new chains much faster.
- AppKit has been upgraded for more flexibility across the frontend.
- Router infra is being improved to support better performance and deeper routing logic moving forward.
What’s Next
July was strong, but it’s just the beginning. Coming next, you’ll see:
- A real-world sponsorship with hundreds of millions of viewers annually.
- Multiple new partnerships across the web3 ecosystem.
- Continued DEX upgrades - including more seamless onboarding, JuicedMode, and TokenSlice.
- And the first official Pineapple Express launch: a high-utility token that sets the tone for the rest.
The Pineapple team has now grown to 23 full-time contributors across product, engineering, marketing, and partnerships: a huge step forward as we scale development, accelerate launches, and expand across ecosystems. More team members, more fire power to deliver.

Development Update 25/7/2025
Zed here, reporting live from Pineapple HQ. Before we dive into the backend upgrades, let’s talk about our biggest release this week:
Pineapple Express is officially live. Our full-stack token launch platform rolled out on Monday - and momentum is already building behind the scenes. Several incredible projects are in the pipeline, each progressing through rigorous due diligence and onboarding. The first launch is drawing near, and we’re focused on making sure every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and long-term alignment. From smart contract audits to launch mechanics, every detail is being reviewed to ensure a secure, high-impact debut for our community. DEX Upgrades
- Smarter Token Recognition: The DEX now supports automatic import of unknown tokens via URL parameters - making it easier for users to share and discover new tokens.
- Codebase Refactor in Progress: Ongoing work is focused on reducing technical debt accumulated during the initial V1 launch. DEX updates will continue to roll out incrementally as improvements are completed.
Feature Audit (Future Developments)
- A third-party audit has been completed on upcoming features currently in stealth.
- No critical or major vulnerabilities were identified.
- 2 minor issues were flagged and are already being addressed.
- All recommended fixes are being implemented, with resolution expected shortly.
- More details on these upcoming features will be revealed soon.
JuicedBot
- JuicedBot V2 is underway, now with added development resourcing to support its next phase.
- Work is advancing on architectural design, technical documentation, and API exploration to support a full redevelopment.
- Completion of this foundational work is expected in the near term.
In Progress
- Token List Configurations: Soon, token visibility will be centrally manageable per chain via the Admin Panel, enabling tailored curation for ecosystem and partner tokens.
Router Upgrade Exploration: Initial drafts of the next-generation routing system are being reviewed. This new iteration will support more aggregators and deeper stablecoin liquidity. - Fiat On-Ramp Integration: Work is underway to integrate multiple fiat on-ramp solutions to better serve users beyond the DeFi-native audience.
That’s a wrap on this week’s update. The team’s deep in development across the DEX, JuicedBot, and Pineapple Express, with progress moving fast on all fronts. A lot of what we’re working on can’t even be mentioned here yet, due to third-party coordination, audits, and NDAs, but it won’t stay under wraps for long.

Development Update 18/7/2025
Pineapple to the world: this wasn’t a quiet rollout. Pineapple’s launch reached millions: across social platforms, public spaces, ad campaigns, and partner channels:
- $PAPPLE has trended multiple times on CoinGecko, DEX Screener, Gecko Terminal, LunarCrush, and other social platforms, racking up millions of impressions. We’ve dominated your timelines - and now that we’re live, that momentum is only going to grow.
- Pineapple was live in Times Square - one of the world’s most iconic advertising spaces, seen by nearly half a million people daily. Just a taste of what the Pineapple marketing machine is capable of.
- In recent weeks, we’ve sponsored major athletes and sporting events like Polaris with global reach - putting Pineapple front and center on jerseys, social feeds, and stadium screens with over 50 million impressions. But we think you’re not even ready for what’s about to drop next.
- And of course, the crypto community has shown up too: with countless respected voices and trusted opinion leaders backing the future of $PAPPLE. And if you know Pineapple, you know there’s plenty more of these in the pipeline.
The common thread? Millions of eyeballs. Millions of impressions. Millions of people. Because Pineapple isn’t just building for web3 - we’re building for the masses.
Let’s jump into what we’ve been up to since launch:
Pineapple DEX Lite improvements: users now get better token prices, smoother UI, improved security, and key bugs have been fixed: including session errors and ETH transaction issues.
- Total changes: 46 files affected, with 796 additions and 353 deletions, across:
- Authentication consolidation: centralized auth files and logic for easier management and enhanced security.
- 0x API integration for specialty route support: delivering better quotes and improved token access when Pineapple Router isn’t optimal.
- Cere integration boost: improved tracking configs and events to better monitor user swaps and engagement.
- API standardization: uniform security updates across all API endpoints to ensure backend reliability.
- Frontend enhancements: refined UI components for seamless Cere support and smoother interactions.
- Bug fixes (reported via Pineapple Bug Bounty):
- Resolved the 100% ETH selling bug, ensuring accurate transaction processing.
- Fixed the multi-session bug to prevent session conflicts when multiple tabs are open.
Backend updates: the core infrastructure is stable, scalable, and production-ready. This means the platform can handle more users and collect better data without performance issues.
- Terraform setup is live and deployed on GCP for scalable ops.
- Custom indexer is fully implemented and now actively collecting data.
- Authentication systems are fully functional and battle-tested.
JuicedBot: JuicedBot is stable and expanding to V2. More developers and sales hires mean faster development and wider adoption - bringing more users and volume to Pineapple DEX.
- Team expansion: New developers being onboarded to expand development of JuicedBot V2, and the sales team is expanding significantly to scale adoption.
- Stability: JuicedBot stabilized with no recent issues.
The next product launch: a new product is launching less than two weeks after DEX Lite. It’s built to increase user activity, drive volume, and strengthen $PAPPLE’s value in the ecosystem.
- Significant work has been underway to prepare our next product launch on Monday. We won’t share any more details until then, but we’ll be unlocking a brand new solution designed to bring in new users, boost volume, generate revenue, and unlock even more rewards for $PAPPLE stakers. It’s a major step forward for $PAPPLE utility: opening new ways to earn, engage, and grow within the Pineapple ecosystem. If you know, you know - and if you don’t, you’re about to find out.
And after that? We’re laser-focused on the following: more web3 partnerships, brand sponsorships, DEX features, and product utility are coming- each aimed at growing usage and pushing more rewards back to $PAPPLE holders.
- New partnerships and integrations in the web3 space. These integrations are focused on one thing: driving more volume and revenue across the ecosystem. That translates directly to higher ecosystem revenue - and higher staking rewards for $PAPPLE holders. The more usage we drive, the more value flows back to stakers. It’s as simple as that.
- New partnerships and sponsorships in the real world. These are aimed at bringing new eyes to Pineapple en masse: some from industries you would expect, and some you wouldn’t.
- New utility: each new product launch will unlock new utility for holders and stakers. We’ll be
- New features on Pineapple DEX, such as:
- Token Slice: displaying advanced token audits and other key metrics to help you make more informed trades
- AI integration: AI agent observes your trading habits and optimizes your portfolio according to your risk-profile for increased ROI
- Multi-chain bridge: as well as supporting multi-chain bridging between the major chains, Pineapple has first-to-market agreements in place with several emerging chains
- Juiced Mode: advanced trading options such as limit orders, visible order books, and much more
Everything we’re building - product launches, platform upgrades, new features, backend infra, JuicedBot, partnerships - is about scaling the Pineapple ecosystem to benefit everyone in it. More users, more volume, more partnerships: all of it feeds back into $PAPPLE. More activity means more rewards for stakers, more utility for holders, and a better experience on-chain. Monday’s launch is the next step, and we’re still just getting started.
